What is MappyMail?
One letter. One address. One recipient.
MappyMail is a person-to-person physical mail platform. You select a specific address on an interactive map, or type in a known address, and send a single physical letter to that recipient. We print and mail each letter for you on a per-letter basis.
The MappyMail platform is designed for individual person-to-person physical mail communications tied to a specific address selected by the user. No account or subscription is needed.
What's the point of MappyMail?
Sending paper mail is simple in theory, but in practice it means paper, envelopes, stamps, a printer, and a trip to a mailbox. MappyMail removes the supply run and the errand, while still delivering a physical letter.

It is also a good fit for messages that are more effective on paper, like a neighbor notice, a formal request, or a personal note that should not live forever in an inbox.
Is MappyMail a bulk mailing platform?
No. MappyMail is designed for one sender to create and send individual letters to specific recipients.
It does not provide mailing lists, audience targeting, mail merge, or campaign management.
Where can I send mail to?
Available destinations and mailing options are shown when you choose and review the recipient address. Confirm the destination and total before checkout.
For any address, double-check the unit, postal code, and country information before sending.
Do I need an account or subscription?
No. We avoid the words create account, login, sign up, and subscribe on purpose. MappyMail is pay per letter, so you can send once and be done.
Can I write the letter online instead of uploading a PDF?
Yes. You can write the letter in the app or upload a PDF if you already have one. Both options result in a printed, mailed letter.
If you already drafted something in another tool, export it to PDF and upload it. If not, the editor is the quickest option.
What types of files can I upload?
Right now we support PDF only. If you have a Word doc or a Google Doc, export it as a PDF first and then upload it.
PDFs preserve formatting, so what you preview is what we print.
Can I mail photos, pictures, or images?
Yes. Add your photos or pictures to a PDF and upload it. MappyMail prints it in color or black and white and mails it as a physical letter.
This is a popular way to send printed photos, screenshots, flyers, and documents with images. If you have a single image, you can paste it into a Word doc or Google Doc and export to PDF.
Can I send certified mail with MappyMail?
Yes. MappyMail offers USPS Certified Mail for domestic US letters. Certified Mail provides a mailing record and USPS tracking. It does not by itself mean that MappyMail can guarantee delivery or identify the person who receives the item.
When available, you can add an Electronic Return Receipt to request a digital recipient-signature record. Certified letters fit up to 6 total printed sheets, and an address page inserted for a PDF upload counts toward that total.
Certified mail is commonly used for legal notices, formal disputes, landlord-tenant communications, and any letter where proof of delivery matters. See Pricing for current rates.
Is there a size or page limit to what I can mail?
PDF uploads are limited to 5 MB. Regular letters may contain up to 60 pages. Certified Mail fits up to 6 total printed sheets, including an inserted address page when applicable.
If your document is larger, split it into smaller PDFs before uploading.
Why is there a cover page included when uploading a PDF?
We use a windowed envelope for the recipient and return addresses, so the first page needs to include them. Your PDF prints on its own pages without the address overlay.
The cover page keeps your document clean while still lining up correctly in the envelope window.
Can I omit sender information from the mailed piece?
MappyMail allows the sender name and return address to be omitted from the mailed piece. Include them when you want undeliverable mail returned or want the recipient to reply by mail.
Orders are not untraceable. MappyMail does not provide sender information to a recipient merely upon request. MappyMail and its service providers process information needed for payment, security, fraud prevention, printing, fulfillment, support, and dispute handling. Information may also be disclosed when required or permitted by applicable law, including in response to valid legal process or to protect rights, safety, and the service.
Payments are processed by Stripe using payment methods made available through Stripe. Stripe and other service providers maintain their own privacy, retention, and disclosure practices. Review MappyMail's Privacy Policy.
Is the information I provide to send a letter secure?
MappyMail uses administrative and technical safeguards and limits information use to operating, securing, and fulfilling the service.
Payment, hosting, email, printing, fulfillment, and delivery providers may process information needed for their roles. See the Privacy Policy for current handling and deletion details.
Is my letter deleted after sending?
MappyMail schedules letter PDF artifacts for deletion after successful fulfillment and any requested confirmation processing. Temporary retention may occur while delivery to the print provider or a confirmation email is retried.
If you want a copy for your records, save your original PDF or download the preview before checkout.
When should I expect the recipient to receive my letter?
Available mailing options and any estimated delivery information are shown during or after processing when available. Delivery timing is not guaranteed and can change because of destination, address quality, postal operations, holidays, weather, customs, and other carrier conditions.
What payment methods are accepted?
All major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, and Cash App Pay.
