Terms of Service
Last updated: October 6, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MappyMail.com and the services provided through it (“MappyMail,” the “Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
IMPORTANT: THESE TERMS INCLUDE A BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND CLASS-ACTION WAIVER FOR U.S. USERS. PLEASE REVIEW SECTION 15 CAREFULLY.
By clicking Pay & Mail Letter, submitting an order, or otherwise using the Service in a manner requiring acceptance of these Terms, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not submit an order or use the Service.
1. Service Description
MappyMail allows users to compose a physical letter online or upload a PDF and provide the information necessary for third-party service providers to print, prepare, apply postage to, and mail the letter to an eligible recipient.
The Service is designed primarily for individual, one-time letter transactions. It is not a bulk-mail, package-delivery, or mass-mailing service.
MappyMail does not require or provide traditional user accounts or subscriptions.
You are responsible for the device, software, internet connection, letter content, recipient information, payment method, and other information you use to submit an order.
You are responsible for providing accurate recipient information and any optional personal return-address information. MappyMail is not responsible for delay, non-delivery, misdelivery, or other problems caused by inaccurate information, postal carriers, service providers, or circumstances outside MappyMail’s reasonable control.
2. Sender Information; No Guarantee of Anonymity or Untraceability
For eligible letters, MappyMail may allow you to omit your name and personal return address from the physical mailed piece. When you do so, MappyMail’s service sender and default return address still appear.
Omitting your name or personal return address does not make the letter, sender, order, or transaction untraceable.
MappyMail does not guarantee anonymity, confidentiality, secrecy, or that a sender cannot be identified.
MappyMail and third-party providers involved in payment processing, hosting, security, fraud prevention, printing, fulfillment, postage, delivery, support, analytics, or legal compliance may process or retain information associated with an order. Those providers operate systems outside MappyMail’s control and may maintain records under their own policies, operational requirements, contractual obligations, and applicable law.
A sender’s identity could potentially be discovered, inferred, disclosed, or obtained through information associated with the order, letter content, payment or transaction records, device or network information, service-provider records, postal processes, legal process, information supplied by the sender, information possessed by third parties, or other circumstances outside MappyMail’s control.
MappyMail does not represent that it knows or controls every method by which a sender might be identified.
MappyMail may preserve or disclose information when required or permitted by applicable law, including in response to valid legal process or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, users, recipients, providers, the public, or the Service.
If your safety, legal position, employment, confidentiality, personal relationships, or other important interests depend on your identity remaining unknown, do not rely on MappyMail as an anonymous or untraceable communication method and do not use the Service for that purpose.
3. Sender Responsibility and Assumption of Risk
You are responsible for deciding whether sending a particular letter is appropriate and for evaluating the possible consequences of sending it.
If you choose to omit your name or personal return address, you understand and accept the risk that your identity may nevertheless be discovered, inferred, disclosed, or obtained through MappyMail, third-party providers, postal processes, legal process, information contained in the letter, surrounding circumstances, or other means.
You are responsible for:
- the content you submit;
- the recipient you select;
- statements, allegations, representations, or accusations contained in the letter;
- determining whether your communication is lawful and appropriate;
- identifying information you include in a letter or uploaded document; and
- reasonably foreseeable consequences arising from your decision to send the communication.
MappyMail does not investigate or verify the truth, accuracy, legality, wisdom, or consequences of user-submitted statements and does not endorse user-generated content.
Do not use MappyMail if your safety or another person’s safety depends on the sender remaining unidentified.
4. Eligibility and No Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to submit an order.
Each order is a separate transaction.
You agree to provide accurate information required to process your order and are responsible for activity conducted using your device, payment method, or information.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of content you submit.
You grant MappyMail and service providers necessary to fulfill your request a limited, non-exclusive license to receive, process, transmit, convert, temporarily store, print, prepare, and mail your content solely as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and fulfill the Service and comply with applicable law.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit the content, recipient information, and other information you provide.
You are responsible for reviewing your letter before payment, including reviewing it for names, signatures, contact information, document metadata, business information, or other details that could identify you or another person.
6. Acceptable Use
MappyMail has zero tolerance for abuse, threats, harassment, stalking, intimidation, fraud, blackmail, extortion, impersonation, or unlawful conduct.
You may not use the Service to create, send, or facilitate content or conduct that is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, intimidating, defamatory where prohibited by law, coercive, extortionate, abusive, or intended to facilitate harm.
You may not use MappyMail to stalk another person; threaten violence; facilitate violence or self-harm; impersonate another person or organization; unlawfully disclose private information; commit fraud; engage in blackmail or extortion; unlawfully discriminate; exploit or endanger minors; infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; conduct phishing, doxing, identity theft, or unlawful data collection; transmit malware; or facilitate criminal or otherwise prohibited conduct.
You may not use MappyMail as a bulk spam or deceptive mass-mailing service.
MappyMail may refuse, cancel, suspend, block, or decline an order or future use of the Service when we reasonably believe the Service is being used unlawfully, abusively, deceptively, or in a way that creates risk to another person, MappyMail, its providers, or the public.
MappyMail may preserve or disclose relevant information when reasonably necessary or legally required to investigate suspected abuse, fraud, threats, safety concerns, or unlawful activity.
7. Third-Party Service Providers
MappyMail relies on independent providers to perform portions of the Service, including payment processing, hosting, security, printing, mail preparation, postage, and delivery.
Payment may be processed by providers such as Stripe. Printing and mail fulfillment are performed by third-party providers.
These providers are not under MappyMail’s complete control and may maintain independent records, security systems, retention practices, disclosure practices, and legal obligations.
MappyMail cannot guarantee the availability, actions, security practices, retention practices, disclosure practices, or continued operation of independent providers.
Deletion of information from MappyMail’s systems does not necessarily delete records separately maintained by third-party providers.
Providers used by MappyMail may change from time to time.
8. Payments and Refunds
Prices are displayed before payment and may change.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. MappyMail does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
Except where required by applicable law, sales are final once a letter has entered production or been accepted by a fulfillment provider or postal carrier.
If MappyMail fails to process an order because of a technical error attributable to MappyMail, we may, at our discretion and subject to applicable law, reprocess the letter or refund the applicable MappyMail charge.
9. Postal Delivery
Delivery estimates are estimates only.
MappyMail does not control postal carriers, sorting facilities, delivery personnel, weather, transportation interruptions, recipient actions, inaccurate addresses, or other circumstances affecting delivery.
MappyMail does not guarantee delivery by a particular date unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
10. Privacy
MappyMail’s Privacy Policy explains how information is processed, shared, retained, and scheduled for deletion.
By submitting an order, you acknowledge that information necessary to complete, secure, support, document, and legally administer the transaction may be processed by MappyMail and independent service providers.
You should review the Privacy Policy before submitting sensitive content.
11. Service Changes and Termination
MappyMail may modify, suspend, discontinue, restrict, or change all or part of the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time.
MappyMail may cancel an order or restrict access when we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, failed to pay required charges, created legal or security risk, or used the Service unlawfully, abusively, or harmfully.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MAPPYMAIL DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SECURITY, CONFIDENTIALITY, ANONYMITY, UNTRACEABILITY, AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY, AND RESULTS.
MAPPYMAIL DOES NOT WARRANT OR GUARANTEE THAT:
- A LETTER WILL BE DELIVERED OR DELIVERED BY A PARTICULAR TIME;
- THE SERVICE WILL OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION OR ERROR;
- A SENDER’S IDENTITY WILL REMAIN UNKNOWN;
- A LETTER, SENDER, ORDER, OR TRANSACTION CANNOT BE TRACED OR ASSOCIATED WITH A SENDER;
- THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS WILL NOT RETAIN INFORMATION;
- INFORMATION CANNOT BE OBTAINED THROUGH VALID LEGAL PROCESS;
- A RECIPIENT OR THIRD PARTY CANNOT INFER, DISCOVER, OR OBTAIN A SENDER’S IDENTITY;
- DELETION FROM MAPPYMAIL WILL DELETE INDEPENDENT THIRD-PARTY RECORDS; OR
- USE OF THE SERVICE WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MAPPYMAIL AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS INCLUDES CLAIMS OR LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO:
- identification, discovery, inference, or disclosure of a sender’s identity;
- a user’s expectation, belief, or assumption of anonymity or untraceability;
- information maintained or disclosed by independent providers;
- subpoenas, warrants, court orders, investigations, regulatory requests, or other legal process;
- statements, allegations, accusations, representations, or content contained in a user’s letter;
- a recipient’s or third party’s reaction to a letter;
- interpersonal, marital, family, employment, reputational, emotional, financial, business, physical, safety-related, or other consequences arising after a letter is sent, received, or attempted to be delivered;
- threats, violence, retaliation, confrontation, harassment, or other conduct by a recipient or third party;
- delivery failures, delays, misdelivery, or postal processing;
- unauthorized use of a device, browser, payment method, or information; or
- events outside MappyMail’s reasonable control.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MAPPYMAIL’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO A PARTICULAR ORDER, THE SERVICE, OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID TO MAPPYMAIL FOR THE ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) US $100.
These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory asserted and even if MappyMail has been advised of the possibility of damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
14. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MappyMail and its members, managers, owners, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, contractors, and service providers from third-party claims, demands, proceedings, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising out of or relating to:
- your use or misuse of the Service;
- content you submit or send;
- statements, allegations, representations, or accusations in your letter;
- your selection of a recipient;
- your decision to omit sender information;
- claims by a recipient or other third party arising from your letter;
- infringement of intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights;
- threats, harassment, stalking, fraud, impersonation, defamation, blackmail, extortion, or other unlawful conduct;
- your violation of applicable law; or
- your violation of these Terms.
This obligation does not apply to the extent indemnification is prohibited by law or to liability arising solely from MappyMail conduct for which applicable law does not permit indemnification.
15. Binding Individual Arbitration and Class-Action Waiver — U.S. Users
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR RIGHT TO GO TO COURT, HAVE A JURY DECIDE A DISPUTE, OR PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.
15.1 Agreement to Arbitrate
If you reside in the United States, you and MappyMail agree that, except for the exceptions stated below, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to:
- the Service;
- an order;
- these Terms;
- the Privacy Policy;
- payment;
- letter content;
- printing, fulfillment, or delivery;
- sender identification;
- anonymity or alleged anonymity;
- traceability or alleged untraceability;
- privacy;
- MappyMail’s marketing or representations; or
- your relationship with MappyMail
will be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court.
This agreement includes claims arising before or after acceptance of these Terms to the extent permitted by law.
15.2 Federal Arbitration Act
This arbitration agreement involves interstate commerce and is governed by the U.S. Federal Arbitration Act to the extent applicable.
15.3 Informal Resolution First
Before commencing arbitration, the party asserting a dispute must give the other party written notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve it informally.
A notice sent to MappyMail must be emailed to support@mappymail.com with the subject line “Notice of Dispute.”
The notice should include sufficient information to identify the transaction if available, a description of the dispute, and the relief requested.
The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the matter for at least 30 days after receipt of the notice before arbitration is filed, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
15.4 Arbitration Provider and Rules
Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its applicable Consumer Arbitration Rules.
When applicable, AAA’s Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules will also apply.
If AAA is unavailable or unwilling to administer the dispute, the parties may agree upon another recognized arbitration provider. If they cannot agree, a court with jurisdiction may appoint an arbitrator or provider consistent with applicable law.
15.5 Arbitration Location and Method
To the extent provided by applicable AAA rules, consumer arbitration may be conducted remotely, by documents, telephone, videoconference, or in the consumer’s county of residence.
The parties may mutually agree to another location or method.
15.6 Arbitration Fees
Arbitration fees will be allocated as required by AAA’s applicable Consumer Arbitration Rules and applicable law.
MappyMail will pay amounts that those rules or applicable law require MappyMail to pay.
15.7 Small Claims Court
Either party may bring an individual claim in a court that qualifies as small-claims court if the claim remains within that court’s jurisdiction and is brought only on an individual basis.
15.8 Non-Waivable Injunctive Relief
Nothing in this arbitration section prevents a person from seeking public or other injunctive relief in a court to the extent applicable law provides a non-waivable right to seek that relief in court.
15.9 Class, Collective, Consolidated, and Representative Action Waiver
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND MAPPYMAIL AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY.
Neither party will seek to have a dispute heard or resolved as a plaintiff or class member in a class, collective, consolidated, coordinated, or representative proceeding, except to the extent that such a waiver is prohibited by applicable law.
Unless both parties agree otherwise, an arbitrator may not consolidate the claims of multiple persons or preside over a class or representative proceeding.
The arbitrator may award relief only to the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to resolve that individual party’s claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
15.10 Jury-Trial Waiver
TO THE EXTENT A DISPUTE IS REQUIRED TO BE ARBITRATED, YOU AND MAPPYMAIL WAIVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE THAT DISPUTE DECIDED BY A JUDGE OR JURY IN COURT.
15.11 Arbitration Severability
If part of this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining portions will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law.
If a final determination holds that the class-action waiver cannot lawfully be enforced as to a particular claim and the provision cannot validly be severed from that claim, that claim will proceed in a court of competent jurisdiction rather than in class arbitration.
The parties do not agree to class arbitration.
16. Consumers Outside the United States
If you reside outside the United States, nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or restrict mandatory consumer rights, privacy rights, dispute-resolution rights, access to courts, choice-of-law protections, or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived under the laws applicable to you.
The arbitration provisions, class-action waiver, Texas choice-of-law provision, Texas venue provision, liability limitations, indemnification provisions, and other contractual restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Where mandatory local law conflicts with these Terms, the mandatory local law controls to the extent required.
17. No Reliance on MappyMail for Safety or Confidentiality
MappyMail is a mailing service.
It is not a witness-protection service, whistleblower-protection service, confidential tip service, attorney-client communication service, medical-confidentiality service, investigative service, emergency service, or guaranteed anonymous-communication service.
Do not use MappyMail where your safety or another person’s safety depends upon guaranteed confidentiality, secrecy, anonymity, or inability to trace the communication.
If you require legally protected or specialized confidential communication, use an appropriate service designed for that purpose.
18. Governing Law
Subject to Section 16 and any mandatory law applicable to a consumer, these Terms and disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, together with applicable federal law.
Nothing in this provision deprives a consumer of mandatory protections that cannot lawfully be waived based on the consumer’s place of residence.
19. Venue for Non-Arbitrable U.S. Disputes
For disputes involving U.S. users that are not subject to arbitration and are not eligible for small-claims court, the parties agree, to the extent permitted by law, to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
This section does not apply where applicable law gives a consumer a non-waivable right to sue elsewhere.
20. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
An unenforceable provision will be limited or severed only to the minimum extent necessary.
21. No Waiver
MappyMail’s failure to enforce a provision does not waive its right to enforce that provision later.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any additional disclosures presented as part of checkout constitute the agreement between you and MappyMail concerning the Service, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
23. Changes to These Terms
MappyMail may update these Terms from time to time.
The version of the Terms in effect when an order is submitted will apply to that transaction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
The “Last updated” date will identify the most recent version.
Material changes will apply prospectively to future transactions unless otherwise permitted by law.
