A sender types a letter or uploads a PDF, reviews the destination and available options, and completes checkout. MappyMail handles the preparation needed to print, envelope, apply postage to, and mail the physical letter.
No account or subscription is required. The service is designed for individual correspondence, not mailing lists, audience targeting, mail merge, or marketing campaigns.
How one letter gets mailed
1. Choose the destination
Enter an address you know or select a building on the map, then review the resulting mailing address.
2. Create the document
Type the letter in the browser or upload a supported PDF or image and review the printable pages.
3. Review and pay
Check the destination, mailing options, document preview, and exact total before payment.
4. Print and mail
The document is sent through the production workflow for printing, envelope preparation, postage, and physical mailing.
What makes it different
MappyMail combines ordinary known-address entry with map-based destination selection. The map can help when a sender recognizes a building or property but does not know its street address. It does not identify the owner, occupants, or a separate mailing address for a property owner.
The providers involved in an order
MappyMail uses specialized providers only for the parts of the transaction they need to perform. Provider systems may keep their own operational records under their policies and legal obligations.
- Stripe
- Processes payment. MappyMail receives payment status and receipt information, not the full card number.
- Lob
- Supports address checks and mail production, including printing, envelope preparation, postage, and submission to the postal network.
- Postmark
- Sends an optional confirmation email and operational email needed for selected services such as Certified Mail tracking.
- Hosting and postal providers
- Host and secure the application, then transport the physical letter after it enters the postal network.
Letter content is temporary
After the print provider accepts a letter, MappyMail schedules its content, mailing details, contact email, and PDF artifacts for deletion. Cleanup is queued immediately when no confirmation email was requested. When a confirmation was requested, cleanup is queued after the email succeeds or after 14 days, whichever comes first. Failed cleanup attempts are retried.
Unused uploads are scheduled for deletion after 24 hours. Draft carts stay in the sender's browser until they are sent, deleted, or cleared. Limited transaction, fulfillment, security, and support records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy, and service providers may apply their own retention requirements.

Senders are responsible for reviewing the destination, adding required recipient or unit details, and using the service lawfully. MappyMail publishes limitations alongside instructions so users can decide whether a mailing method fits their situation.
